I don't know why anyone would try and watch this without the inspired MST3K commentary, because raw-dogging the original release sounds like inspired torture. Admire the grit of a director hamstrung by a camera that could only shoot 32 seconds of film. Marvel at a production sketched out on a napkin following a bar bet that making a horror movie wasn't that tough. Ask yourself why the opening is nearly 10 minutes of driving, and how you'll survive the rest of the film.
