This film, along with its sister-production, Troll, gave rise to Full Moon Pictures. You can see some of that so bad it's good DNA and love for practical creature effects well on display here. Campy, with outrageously over the top 80s couture, a deliciously slimy monster, and just so very-very dumb humans make this a perfect watch when you feel like turning your brain off.
