It's a slugfest between this and The Guyver for 'worst attempt to bring a bloody anime to Live Action'. You're Already Bored by the time the first death lands.

It's Interesting that this movie seems to take itself so seriously, because it really shouldn't. Between all the weird mugging to the camera and goofy costumes, this movie comes off as a Mel Brooks Parody of a film no one has seen, but with all the jokes and humour edited out.
