Josh is off to his first year of college and Buddy has stayed behind with Josh’s little sister Andrea and the rest of the family. Andrea, attempting to fit in with her Jr. High classmates, decides to join the baseball team and along the way discovers that Buddy is a talented baseball player.

For a town that claims to love it's sports dynasty canines, none of them seemed to concerned that all the dogs were being kidnapped. One funny thing about this movie is how there is no longer any pushback on dogs joining sports teams, like they have been conditioned to not even question it at this point in the franchise.

PUPPY! 🐶⚾ This movie is proof that if you put enough dogs in a movie, I will forgive almost anything. Is it ridiculous? Absolutely. Did I smile every time a dog shows up in a scene? Very absolutely. 10/10 would let my dogs watch this without me. 🐾

Air Bud FINALLY learns to play his nations past time, baseball, in a town where the only kind of dogs that exist are Golden Retrievers and the only kind of people that exist are white. There might be a eugenics subtext going on here.
