Review: Hyped UP Bunnies

Deuandra once again proves she’s willing to go places most filmmakers wouldn’t even think to look. What starts as a simple crime story about three exotic dancers on the run quickly turns into a chaotic mix of gunfights, kidnapping, seduction, religion, and whatever else she decides belongs in the movie. Most interesting is her continued willingness to embrace AI as part of the filmmaking process. While Hollywood is still arguing about whether AI has a place in cinema, Deuandra is already using it, experimenting with it, and essentially daring everyone else to catch up. Whether that makes her ahead of her time or simply operating on a completely different timeline is probably beside the point. Hyped Up Bunnies feels like the work of an innovator who has no interest in waiting for permission.
