    Adding weird mystical prophecies to an already bloated franchise canon seemed to be the fate of all slashers in the 90s. Deaths aren't that fun or gory, and the most interesting part of the film (aside from the guy munching down on Jason's blackened heart-jerky) sets up a crossover that would take a decade to see to fruition.
