In the year 2455, Old Earth is now a contaminated planet abandoned for centuries -- a brown world of violent storms, toxic landmasses and poisonous seas. Yet humans have returned to the deadly place that they once fled, not to live, but to research the ancient, rusting artifacts of the long-gone civilizations. But it's not the harmful environment that could prove fatal to the intrepid, young explorers who have just landed on Old Earth. For them, it's Friday the 13th, and Jason lives!

After getting too serious and mystical in Jason Goes to Hell, Jason gets reinvented as something over the top, funny, and just as deadly in this entry.
A few nods to classic kills, a very very good new kill right off the bat, and an overall love of the franchise and willingness to be in on the joke make what could have been another bad horror movie in space transcend the limits of Bad Movies.
This movie was amazing top to bottom. Jason goes to space, falls into an upgrade machine, and becomes a cyborg, all while still finding sexed up students to keep his killstreak going. Several funny scenes. If you like your Friday the 13th movies grounded and serious, then youve sort of missed the point of the series and you won't like this.
